Our emblem, the elephant with the blue umbrella, carries deep meaning. The elephant symbolizes memory and wisdom, while the blue umbrella represents dementia as an umbrella term that covers many different conditions. When worn as a pin, it lets others know the wearer is accompanying or caring for someone with dementia—a quiet reminder to approach with patience, kindness, and understanding.
